I use the 4x textures and have never altered any of the bumpmaps and it seems to display fine. >Question 2: Do you have to adjust bumpmaps for 4K textures and what happens if you don't?
How do I restore it without rolling back all my changes?Īnyway, thanks for reading, I realize that I am a total idiot messing with stuff he barely understands, so if anybody is willing to help got my full gratitude. Question 5: Probably the most tricky stuff: I somehow managed to fuck up the outfits tooltip, it doesn't display outfits now. Question 4: How do I disable the base/real/etc models? I deleted the ones I don't use but they are still displayed when choosing them. Question 3: I messed around with rooms to disable some and it actually worked but in the process (or before while tweaking something else) I fucked up with the customizer room which is completely black now, any idea what files I have to adjust to fix it? Question 2: Do you have to adjust bumpmaps for 4K textures and what happens if you don't? Also what type of stuff can one generally delete safely like sounds?
Question 1: Merging the txx files in Archive is supposed to make it load faster (and the speed still sucks on ssd but guess that's given the old engine), I read that one should leave Boot, runtimes and packages alone, anything else to consider? So far it doesn't seem to help much. Can someone lend me a hand or at least push me in the right direction? Now I am in the optimizing phase and literally spent an entire day with. Hey guys, picked up the game again after couple years of a break and after spending the first days with the search of poses, textures, customizing my own model and so on and so on and even realizing why hook didn't work for me before (Apparently d3d8 is GPU sensitive) Also holy shit, the possibilities. Just make sure you have the UV map for the meshes you want to use so you can superimpose it on your canvas and know exactly where to paint. When I'm bored or just have too much free time, I'll browse through as many as I can, then a few awesome ideas will pop in and the creation process actually becomes a joy when I can get more than 80% of what I wanted displayed in the game. Me for example: Google is good, but they don't show everything, so I sign in to Pinterest, tell it what kind of pictures I want to see and the related themes, and then it'll show me a collection of related shit much larger than generic Google search. You just need a lot of imagination, and a whole lot more of browsing the internet for photos and illustrations of clothing themes that fit your tastes. If it looks different, it's a 'creation' enough.
The transparency property in textures can allow for some radically different looking costumes even though they all use the same mesh. Register an account, comb through and find the shit. Replace your binaries with what you downloaded, run the game using the TKLauncher inside the Binaries folder. >Why does my game look like shit? How can I get it to look like yours? Don't get any megapack, because 90% of them contains shit.
